This site is dedicated to Angel. Angel was a Lesser Citron Crested Cockatoo who left us too soon. Angel had been through a lot in her life, her previous owner had become senile, forgotten to feed her and had even closed the cage door on her foot, which had to be amputated. She was relinquished to us after the operation. Even after all this, Angel was the sweetest bird I've ever had the privilege of knowing. I can honestly say, Angel did not bite. She was always happy to see anyone and quick to greet you with a “Hi Annnngel!” Angel is flying with the big birds now. She has two feet and is no longer trapped in a cage. Although we miss her dearly, we know she’s finally free.
